Description
Daniel Demers has 13 years of experience practicing the flat fee MLS model and is currently licensed in 10 states. In all, he estimates selling several thousand properties over the past few years.
Daniel studied Finance and Operations Management at UMass’ Isenberg School of Management before working as an underwriter and freelancing in real estate asset valuation. Daniel spent several years with Keller Williams prior to leaving the traditional real estate practice in favor of the “flat fee MLS” model.
Prior to establishing a full-time focus on the flat fee model, Daniel spent 5 years as a high school teacher and sold houses from numerous national parks during a 7-month cross-country road trip.
Outside of the scope of real estate, Daniel has visited 31 countries. His travels include extended backpacking trips through South America, Western Europe, India, and Southeast Asia. He spent a year living in rural Korea as a middle school English teacher. Daniel’s favorite experiences include trekking to Everest Base Camp, a 9-day motorbike tour of Thailand, picnicking by the Loire river in France, and following a 500-year-old Inca trail to Machu Picchu.
